THE ANIMAL rights group People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has taken its battle against Kentucky Fried Chicken to India, demonstrating in Bangalore outside a branch of the fast food chain. One activist was dressed as a crippled chicken, to the bemusement of passers-by. PETA India claims KFC birds are de-beaked without pain-killers.
