INDIA EASES IRON ORE MINING BAN

BY RAGHAVENDRA VERMA, IN NEW DELHI 05 September 2012 THE lengthy ban on iron ore mining in the Indian state of Karnataka has been partially lifted by the country's Supreme Court, a decision that could eventually increase annual supply in the domestic market by 4.5 million tonnes and soften prices.
