KEITH NUTHALLANGER has been sparked inside the Indian government by the European Union's decision to effectively maintain anti-dumping duties on exports of Indian bed linen, which New Delhi claims is in clear contravention of two World Trade Organisation rulings on the matter.India has instigated fast-track proceedings which could lead to the WTO's disputes settlement body ordering the EU to comply, after Brussels initiated a "partial interim review" of the duties, one day before they were to lapse; under European rules, this will prolong their life.In an ...
