IMI COMMITTEE CHIEFS ELECTED
February 1st, 2014A NEW chair of the European Union Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) scientific committee has been elected –Professor Maria Beatriz da Silva Lima, a pharmacology and pharmacotoxicology specialist from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. The vice chair will be Professor Markus Perola, of Finland’s National Institute for Health and Welfare. The 12-person committee includes medical research experts from across Europe.
