ILO AIRPORT CHECK IN HEALTH

Keith NuthallTHE INTERNATIONAL Labour Organisation (ILO) has warned that airport check-in staff suffer intense physical and emotional stresses, causing widespread workplace injuries and illnesses. A survey of Canada and Switzerland airports by the International Transport Workers' Federation, International Labour Office, and Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety has revealed serious problems.
