IFC PLOTS 7 MILLION CANADIAN DOLLAR INVESTMENT IN ARGENTINE POLYMETALLIC PROJECT

BY KEITH NUTHALL THE INTERNATIONAL Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank is investing Canadian dollars CAD 7.3 million (US dollars USD 7 million) in Vancouver-based Argentex Mining Corporation to support polymetallic mineral exploration in Argentina. Argentex's Pinguino project in the southern province of Santa Cruz, in Patagonia, has uncovered sulphide-rich polymetallic deposits veins.
