CZECH brewer Budejovicky Budvar can call its beer 'Budweiser' in Hungary but it cannot call it 'Bud'. That was the message given to the Czechs by the Hungarian Patent Office in the latest chapter in a battle between the state-owned brewery and American brewer Anheuser-Busch. Budejovicky Budvar claims it is located where the name Budweiser was born and therefore has a historical right to
sell beer under the name. Anheuser-Busch says it began using the trademark
