HEAVYWEIGHT cargo specialists, Emery Worldwide Airlines, has been sentenced for violating America's Hazardous Material Transportation Act. The company admitted that on 12 occasions it failed to provide proper notice to its pilots that they were transporting dangerous goods, including nuclear material. Emery, (whose hub is Dayton International Airport, Ohio), has been ordered to pay a US$6 million fine and has been placed on probation for three years.
