BY KEITH NUTHALL CONTESTS between India and Pakistan to set the Guinness World Record for hand-planting trees in one day is leading to millions of trees being planted in a region where deforestation has been a serious problem. The efforts are being noted by the UN Environment Programme's (UNEP) 'Billion Tree Campaign' which has a target of planting 7 billion trees worldwide by this December.
