GERMANY SHOULD STEP UP CORPORATE BRIBERY ENFORCEMENT

GERMANY’S strong anti-bribery enforcement against individuals needs to be matched by comparably strong enforcement against companies, according to a June 21 report by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) Working Group on Bribery.
The report, which follows a ‘phase 4’ evaluation of Germany's implementation of the Anti-Bribery Convention, praises Germany's role as one of its most efficient enforcers.
