GERMANY RAISES CONCERN OVER RUSSIA FOOD BLOCKS

IN a memorandum to Germany, the confederation of the food and drink industries of the EU (CIAA) says that since the EU enlargement in May 2004 there have arisen numerous non-tariff barriers "such as veterinary or sanitary certificates and other discriminatory procedures."
