GERMANY NUCLEAR PHASE-OUT CRITICISED BY IEA

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE INTERNATIONAL Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris has called on Germany to reconsider its decision to phase-out nuclear power within 15 years, warning it could hit the country's economy, its security of energy supply and its greenhouse gas emissions record. In a largely laudatory country report on German energy policy, the IEA singled out the nuclear decision for criticism.
