BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE EUROPEAN Investment Bank (EIB) has drawn up plans to finance a range of renewable energy projects in Germany. Up to Euro 200 million would be invested, mainly in wind power plants, and to a lesser extent geothermal, small-scale hydro power, solar energy and biomass based energy projects. Assuming the plan receives final approval, the money would be funnelled through German banks Bremer Landesbank, Kreditanstalt Oldenburg, Girozentrale Bremen/Oldenburg, Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein and Girozentrale Kiel.
