BY KEITH NUTHALL THE ORGANISATION for Economic Commerce & Development (OECD) has released a stinging indictment of France's inaction over fighting the bribery of foreign public officials. A report by the OECD working group on bribery noted only five convictions - one under appeal - have been secured in 12 years. It concluded French sanctions against the crime "are not sufficiently dissuasive" and criticised failures to seize corruption proceeds.
