FRANCE GOVERNMENT AND PHARMA INDUSTRY PLEDGE INVESTMENT

FRANCE'S government and pharmaceutical industry have jointly promised to increase private and public spending on medical research and development by 10% over the next three years. Health and industry ministers Xavier Bertrand and François Loos pledged action following a meeting of the country's Strategic Health Industries Council. The French industry recently received a dedicated tax break.
