Former Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib Razak, was convicted in Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday (July 28) of seven charges linked to his role in the embezzlement of USD4.5 billion from the 1 Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) government investment fund.
