DEVELOPING countries, the UN Food & Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the World Conservation Union (IUCN), the World Fish Centre, and the World Bank have launched a Global Programme on Fisheries (PROFISH). This will help developing countries design and implement sustainable fisheries plans, and combat illicit over-fishing.
