FIRST NORTH AMERICAN JURISDICTION USES CONCENTRATED VACCINES

THE CANADIAN province of British Columbia has become the first north American province to use a six-in-one vaccine developed by GlaxoSmithKline called Infanrix hexa, which will allow its children to receive 14 vaccine shots by 18 months, instead of the standard 17. Every other Canadian province uses a five-in-one vaccine called Pediacel, a product of Sanofi Pasteur Ltd.
