BY KEITH NUTHALLIN what must rank as one of the more bizarre publicity stunts in the paint industry, the European Space Agency is to fly a small glass globe containing a splash of Ferrari's fabled red paint around Mars, in its Mars Express satellite next year. The idea is to link the red racing brand with the Red Planet in the public mind.Vacuum tests have already been carried out on the container and paint, to make sure that they could withstand the pressure of being hurtled through space at a speed 10,800 kmh; clearly, a ruptured globe splashing Ferrari paint ...
