FEAR OF FOREIGN BRIBERY CONVICTIONS RISES IN US BOARDROOMS

BY KEITH NUTHALL THE FEAR of conviction over beefed up foreign bribery rules is growing in the USA, a consultants' report is claiming, but scandals involving graft overseas continue. BDO USA released findings from a survey of 72 corporate directors of public companies with turnovers exceeding USD250 million. Of the 66% trading abroad, 32% said risks related to bribery of foreign officials had increased over the past two years.
