FAA PREDICTS 400 MILLION MORE USA ANNUAL AIR PASSENGER MOVEMENTS BY 2038

THE FEDERAL Aviation Administration (FAA), of the USA, has forecast that American air traffic will increase from 840.8 million passenger movements in 2017 to 1.28 billion in 2038. It projected in its FAA Aerospace Forecast Fiscal Years (FY) 2018-2038 that domestic route air passenger numbers will increase 4.7% this year (2018), then grow 1.7% on average annually until 2038. As for international passenger traffic, numbers should increase 5% this year, and then grow 3.3% annually until 2038, it added.
