BY KEITH NUTHALL The European Parliament's foreign affairs committee has warned Moscow that EU support for Russia's bid for membership of the World Trade Organisation may depend on it adhering to the Energy Charter Treaty - in other words agreeing to internationally accepted energy trading rules. The EU has been pressuring Russia to ratify the 1998 charter since the Russians cut gas supplies for a period in early 2006 but Moscow has refused, saying the EU should offer greater concessions.
