EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT LAUNCHES SPECIAL TERRORISM CONTROL COMMITTEE
July 1st, 2017 A REVIEW of European Union (EU) laws and policies designed to fight terrorism, including financial controls, is to be undertaken over the next year by a special European Parliament committee. The 30 MEP body will hold investigative hearings, some of which may be closed to the public and media. It may also have access to confidential documents that it will not publicise, but use to draw up a report recommending reforms to EU institutions and member states.
