EUROPEAN COMMISSION STEPS UP ACTION AGAINST FAKE GOODS

THE EUROPEAN Commission has asked drinks companies for comments on a planned future ‘Counterfeit and Piracy watch-list’ to identify non-European Union (EU) online and physical trading organisations who commonly allow the sale of counterfeit, pirated and smuggled goods. All drinks companies and industry associations are encouraged to contribute to this consultation by April 16, 2018.
