EUROPEAN COMMISSION RELEASES NEW LONG TERM RAW MATERIAL STRATEGY

THE EUROPEAN Commission has released another long term raw materials strategy, trying to boost the recycling and reuse of more valuable minerals that would otherwise be landfilled. This latest strategy has been developed by the Commission's environment directorate general and has been christened a 'Resource Efficiency Roadmap'. It looks towards 2050.
