EUROPE: Five year research cooperation deal struck between India and EU

European Union (EU) ministers have approved another five years of research cooperation between the EU and India.
The EU's Council of Ministers has approved a formal agreement that will encourage joint research projects, exchanges of scientists and also of information and inventions. This agreement builds on existing deals that have been forged in the past between the EUand India, dating back to 1993.
