EUANTI-DUMPING DUTIES CHINA SHOE EXPORTS – EUROPEAN COMMISSION

BY ALAN OSBORN European Commission officials confirmed today (Monday) that anti-dumping duties of around 20% on leather shoes from China and other Asian countries will be proposed this week. The move follows close monitoring by Brussels of sales from China and Vietnam over the past 12 months which found there was an average subsidy of 8.5 Euros per pair of shoes.
