AGREEMENT has been reached between European Union (EU) institutions on reforms to the EU general food law regulation ensuring that studies behind European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommendations are made public. This would include data supporting a request for EFSA scientific advice. Confidential information would be protected, with EFSA deciding what can be released.
