EU WARNS OF DUTCH MASCARA HEALTH ALERT

THE EUROPEAN Commission's consumer alert service RAPEX has warned of a voluntary recall of 'Rival de Loop' double effect mascara in the Netherlands. This followed the discovery of excess bacterial contamination in 17% of the line, which was totally recalled. This withdrawal was publicised widely by advertisements in prominent Dutch newspapers.
