EU USA COUNTERFEIT GOODS ALLIANCE – FAKE CLOTHING

THE UNITED States and the European Union (EU) have agreed to set up joint-border enforcement cooperation to detect counterfeit goods, including clothing, and to create teams of diplomats in third country embassies tasked with sharing data and intelligence on counterfeiting. Initially, these groups will work with China and Russia, although later they will cover the rest of Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
