THE NEW trade and cooperation agreement struck on Christmas Eve by the European Union (EU) and the UK will preserve significant cooperation on anti-fraud matters. The 1,256 pages long agreement includes detailed provisions on exchanging criminal records, evidence, fingerprints, vehicle registration records and more. It includes a detailed set of rules on working together to fight VAT fraud.
