EU PAKISTAN TRADE DEAL WILL BOOST TEXTILE SALES

BY KEITH NUTHALL EUROPEAN Union (EU) heads of government have agreed to temporarily remove trade barriers and tariffs impeding Pakistani exports to Europe, helping the country recover from recent devastating floods. A European Council communiqué confirmed a "Firm commitment to grant exclusively to Pakistan increased market access to the EU through the immediate and time-limited reduction of duties on key imports."
