EU OVERSEAS SALES PROMOTION WINE SPIRITS LITHUANIA FRANCE SPAIN – POLAND CARROT JUICE

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE EUROPEAN Commission has announced its latest tranche of funding to help European Union (EU) drinks producers sell products outside the EU. Maybe the most significant grant is Euro 1.43 million being paid over three years by Brussels to Lithuania to boost exports of wines and spirits. Another large grant is a one-year payment of Euro 884,698 to Poland for promoting sales of carrot juice. And Brussels plans to spend Euro 450,000 on promoting non-EU wine exports from France's Alsace and Côtes du Rhône regions, as well as Spanish sherry. EU ...
