EU NANOSILVER REPORT TO BE RELEASED THIS YEAR

A EUROPEAN Union (EU) report on the extent to which using nano-silver in consumer products can pose a risk regarding consumer safety and health; environmental problems; and the promotion of antimicrobial resistance will be published later this year. An official for the EU’s scientific committee on emerging and newly identified health risks (SCENIHR) told International Dyer the report would then be released for public consultation.
