THE EUROPEAN Union (EU) and Europe's newest independent country - Montenegro - have agreed to scrap a range of import duties levied on many mutually traded drinks products, including beer, grape spirits, cider, perry, mead, flavoured wines and others. They have also agreed to mutually recognise each other's geographical indications for traditionally-made wine and spirits.
