EU MINISTERS ASKED TO IMPOSE PROTECTIVE DUTIES ON KEY CLEANING CHEMICAL

THE EUROPEAN Union (EU) Council of Ministers has been asked to levy heavy anti-dumping duties on exports to the EU from the USA, China and Taiwan of chemicals called peroxosulphates (persulphates), widely used for cleaning. One variant KMPS disinfects swimming pools, while other types - such as potassium peroxymonosulphate are used for a range of cleaning and disinfection applications.
