EU MINISTERS APPROVE EURO V AND VI VEHICLE EMISSIONS REGULATION

BY KEITH NUTHALL THE EUROPEAN Parliament's compromise amendments giving diesel SUV's three more years than standard petrol cars to comply with the European Union's (EU) next Euro V emissions standards have been accepted by the EU Council of Ministers. Indeed, ministers have approved all changes made by European parliamentarians to the fifth set of EU vehicle emissions rules, and they will now come into force.
