EU INSTITUTIONS AGREE NEW RULES TO DEAL WITH NOISE AT AIRPORTS

BY CARMEN PAUN, in Brussels THE EUROPEAN Commission, the European Parliament and the European Union (EU) Council of Ministers have agreed a law introducing measures that national and local authorities have to respect when they decide to set operating restrictions at European airports limiting aircraft noise.
