EU INSPECTORS FIND LABELLING AND CLASSICIATION ERRORS IN BIOCIDES, ADHESIVES AND WASHING PRODUCTS

A EUROPEAN Union (EU)-wide enforcement project assessing compliance with EU chemical legislation has concluded that 7% of checked biocidal products lacked valid authorisations, either under the EU’s biocidal products regulation (BPR) or related national legislation; also 17% of biocidal product labels did not comply with EU or related national rules.
