EU FOOD MANUFACTURERS LAUNCH NUTRITON LABELLING SCHEME

BY ALAN OSBORN The EU's food manufacturing companies have agreed on a voluntary nutrition labelling scheme which is to be recommended for use in all 25 member countries. The scheme, announced Monday by the EU Confederation of Food and Drink Industries (CIAA), will be formally presented today Tuesday to the European Platform for Action on Diet, Physical Activity and Health.
