EU FMD ARGENTINA BAN

The European Commission has announced an extension of the areas in Argentina from which sales to the EU of de-boned and maturated meat are suspended because of foot and mouth disease. Brussels said last month that shipments from parts of Formosa and Salta had been halted. Now, following further restrictions within Argentina, imports from the entire provinces of Formosa, Salta, Chaco and Jujuy are banned.
