EU FINANCIAL WATCHDOG SLAMS SINGLE SKY PROGRAMME

THE COURT of Auditors – the European Union’s (EU) financial watchdog – has criticised the EU’s Single European Sky (SES) programme for failing to deliver its goals, saying it should be reviewed. The court noted in a report that EUR730 million had been spent on SES, with EUR3.8 billion spending projected by 2020.
