BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE NUMBER of young Europeans seeing a link between illicit drug consumption and standard lifestyle choices is on the increase, according to a European Union (EU) opinion poll of 7,650 aged between 15 and 24. Carried out by the EU's Eurobarometer polling agency, it shows that compared with 2003, one young person in three now sees a link between the consumption of alcohol and drugs (an increase of 5% since 2002) and between the consumption of tobacco and drugs (up 7%).
