EU DANISH PRESIDENCY TO PUSH FLIGHT TIME REFORMS
April 1st, 2012 BY KEITH NUTHALL THE CURRENT Danish presidency of the European Union (EU) will push a review of European Union (EU) flight time regulations limiting work periods for pilots. Denmark's transport minister Henrik Dam Kristensen wants EU member states to back reforms to existing rules. He said: "It is essential to create the right balance between flight time and rest for pilots to ensure flight safety."
