THE SALE to Russia of multi-directional, multi-dimensional knitting and interlacing machines, including adapters and modification kits, specially designed or modified for weaving, interlacing or braiding fibres, for composite structures has been banned by the European Union (EU).This is because the EU considers such machines of potential use to the Russian military, which has been involved in the Ukraine crisis.
