EU APPROVES TEXTILE FINISHING DUTY FREE QUOTAS

THE EUROPEAN Union (EU) Council of Ministers has approved a revised list of duty-free quotas for textile finishing and other chemicals whose production within the EU is insufficient to meet demand. The quotas cover dye chemicals, such as titanium dioxide - this quota, for instance, will remain in place until a mandatory review, due by December 31, 2022.
