A report highlighting the benefits in reduced pollution and job creation through developing more low-carbon emission vehicles has been welcomed by the European Aluminium Association (EAA) for stressing how important aluminium can be in this process.The report, written by consultants Cambridge Econometrics and Ricardo-AEA, and supported by the EAA and other industry groups, says research into using aluminium as a lightweight automotive material is delivering results.
