EU ALSO PUSHES FORWARD ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY

THE EUROPEAN Parliament’s January votes also laid down a negotiating position on proposals to revise the EU’s energy efficiency directive (2012/27/EU 2011/0172(COD)). MEPs want a binding EU-wide target for improving energy efficiency by 35% by 2030.
