EU AGREES NEW FISH FARMING HEALTH DIRECTIVE

BY KEITH NUTHALL THE EUROPEAN Union (EU) Council of Ministers has approved a directive on farmed fish health and aquaculture disease control, laying down common high standards on monitoring and controlling pathogens, the first comprehensive EU measure controlling this growing food industry.
