EMISSIONS CAPTURE – KYOTO REPORT

THE KYOTO Protocol Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has concluded that capturing and storing carbon dioxide produced by power plants before it enters the atmosphere could minimise climate change. It said capture and storage of CO2 underground could generate up to 55% of all emission reductions needed this century for stabilising greenhouse gas. *http://www.ipcc.ch/activity/ccsspm.pdf
